Morton East Pool Renovation

In response to a district-wide master plan, J. Sterling Morton SD201 identified a need to renovate its existing, outdated pool at Morton East High School. Improvements included installing new filter and pump systems, infilling underwater windows, re-grouting all the existing mosaic tile finishes, providing a new pool deck, providing new moisture-resistant ceiling systems, installing new lighting, as well as, providing new locker rooms and shower areas. The new pool area successfully enhanced the aesthetics of the space but also improved the overall functionality and environment. Physical education, swimming and water polo participants are now able to enjoy a new and improved facility for decades to come. Vision Construction worked with the design team to provide the requested renovations on time and under budget.
